Bantwal, Jun 22: A 16-year-old SSLC student has died due to sickness at Kodapadavu Mala, Padnur village here.

The deceased is identified as Bhuvanesh, son of Kodapadavu Mala resident Narayana. He was a student of Vittal High School, Vitla. He has been suffering epileptic fits for the last six months.

As he was suffering epileptic seizures at home, he was escorted to a government hospital. However, he died when he was being examined by the doctor. A police case in this connection is registered at the Vitla police station.
