Bengaluru: Second PU results to be announced in first week of July

Bengaluru, Jun 19: Minister for primary and secondary education for the state of Karnataka, Suresh Kumar, informed that the result of second PU will be declared in the first week of July.

Speaking to the reporters in the city on Friday, June 19, Kumar said, "The valuation of answer papers of 26 subjects out of the 36 subjects of second PU is already over. The evaluation of answer papers of nine subjects is in its last stage. The evaluation of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, Statistics, Biology and English are pending."

"The evaluation of answer papers of English subject will be carried out in 20 districts. The allowance that will be paid for the evaluation work of answer papers will be disbursed immediately unlike the previous years. The allowance of the first phase is already released," he added.

The minister also requested the evaluators to arrive for the evaluation of the answer papers of the subjects that are pending.

All the examinations of second PU except English subject were completed before the announcement of lockdown. The English exam was held on Thursday, June 18.
