Dubai, Jun 18: The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority of the Supreme Council for National Security has urged all UAE residents and citizens to rely on information from official sources and denied all rumours surfacing on social media with regards to travel protocols.

It clarified that all the required information relating to travel guidelines were officially announced on Wednesday, June 17 in a virtual media briefing.

The authority announced specified conditions and categorized into three categories for residents and citizens intending to travel abroad from June 23. Low risk where everyone can travel, medium risk travel for specific purposes, and high risk no travel.

Other conditions for resident and citizen travelers include registering in the Twajudi service of the ministry of foreign affairs, travelling only if they are COVID-19 negative, have health insurance and strictly abide by all precautionary measures at the airport.
