Mumbai, Jun 14: Well known Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his residence here, said police sources. He was 34.
He was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on Sunday morning, and a domestic help alerted the police.
Rajput is best known for his titular role in Neeraj Pandey's 2016 release, 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', the biopic of former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
He made his film debut in Abhishek Kapoor's 2013 release, "Kai Po Che", and was seen in films like "Detective Byomkesh Bakshi", "Raabta", "Kedarnath" and "Shudh Desi Romance".
Incidentally, Sushant's manager had committed suicide a few days ago.
A team of Bandra Police rushed to investigate. They said that no suicide note was found at the actor's residence. They also added that they would be probing the incident from all angles.
