Udupi: Helpline launched for migrant workers

Udupi, Jun 11: The migrant workers in various places in the district have been sent to their states by the district administration by trains and buses.

If any more migrant workers are remaining and are willing to return home, they can telephone 0820-2571500 or WhatsApp 9880831516 with the documents, stated a press release by the DC, G Jagadeesha.

    For three months during lock down there was no govt help for stranded migrant workers on the highways. All talk ,do nothing. Now lip service coming. but nothing in financial aid or jobs. Thank God.
