Abu Dhabi, Jun 4: Etihad Airways is set to link 20 cities across Asia, Europe and Australia from June 10. Etihad has recently launched links to connect Melbourne and Sydney to London Heathrow via Abu Dhabi on both ways.
As previously announced destinations, Etihad would continue to operate network of special flights from Abu Dhabi across its international network.
Transfer connections would be available from Jakarta, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo via Abu Dhabi to major cities across Europe including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Dublin, Frankfurt, Geneva, London Heathrow, Madrid, Milan, Paris Charles de Gaulle, and Zurich.
Earlier this week the UAE government announced to resume transit flights via Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah airports by national carriers Etihad, Emirates, Fly Dubai and Air Arabia.
While operating the flights, Etihad has resolved to carry out all directives issued by the health authorities and adhere to highest standards towards prevention of the spread of coronavirus. Extensive sanitization and practicing customer safety programmes would be implemented among other various measures.
