His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid conducts meeting to develop strategy for post-Covid-19 era

Dubai, May 4: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice-president, the prime minister and Ruler of Dubai, gave guidelines on developing a national strategy for the post-COVID-19 era. All the ministers, undersecretaries, members of the executive council and experts were called on to come up with a strategy and establish long and short-term policies to reactivate the economic activities in the nation.

His Highness spoke of the need to invite local, national and international experts to participate in the brainstorming sessions and to analyze the situation and produce useable solutions. He ordered an emergency plan to be made for increased productivity and competitiveness in the medical industry after the Covid-19 era.

His Highness conducted an online conference that was attended by HH Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of the Interior, and HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of Presidential Affairs. The panel approved several decisions and legislations aimed at developing the federal government work and establishing a framework for the post-Covid-19 times.

His Highness said that the country’s financial and human resources must be redirected to strengthen the medical, food and economic security through new programmes and projects.

The vice-president said that more government meetings are to be further held to discuss new changes and identify development goals for the coming periods.
