Mumbai, Jan 1: “‘Kala Jagattu’, a metro-based cultural organization will be organizing ‘Tulu Parba–2010’ from Saturday January 2 to Friday January 8, to mark their 31st annual day celebrations”, said Kala Jagattu founder president Tonse Vijay Kumar Shetty.

Addressing media persons at a press meet held at Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East), on Tuesday December 29, Vijay Kumar said that Sri Vishweshateerta Swami of Pejavar Mutt, Udupi, will inaugurate the event on Saturday afternoon at Radhabai Timmappa auditorium of Bunts Bhavan.
A grand procession depicting Tulunadu culture will be held from Priyadarshini Circle, Kurla–Chunnabatti, to the venue, ahead of the inaugural.
Bunts Sangh president Aikala Harish Shetty will preside over the programme. Karnataka home minister Dr V S Acharya and higher education minister Arvind Limbavali, Udupi MLA K Raghupati Bhat and Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon will attend the programme.
