Abu Dhabi, Apr 29: As a measure to control the spread of the coronavirus and the early detection of tests, the Ministry of Health and Prevention conducted 25,000 additional tests. These tests resulted in the detection of 541 new cases among residents of different nationalities, bringing the total case toll in the nation to 11,380. Necessary medical treatment is being done on the newly detected cases.

The ministry further announced that seven patients had died due to complications arising from COVID-19. The death toll of the country is currently 89. The ministry conveyed their sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wish for the speedy and healthy recovery of those currently undergoing treatment for the same.

91 people who had been infected by the coronavirus have now fully recovered, after receiving the needed medical care. The number of recoveries now stands at 2,181. The ministry further advised the public to adhere to health guidelines and instructions, especially those concerning social distancing and sanitation, for the sake of the health and safety of all.
