Panaji, Apr 18: Goa will get one thousand thermal guns which would be at the disposal at state government to curb the COVID-19 infection by Sunday.
State health minister Vishwajit Rane tweeted that the thermal guns would be arriving in the state on Sunday.
He tweeted “We are happy to announce that 1000 thermal guns are procured by Health Ministry, Government of Goa. They will be airlifted and delivered to Goa by tomorrow.
“I am grateful to Government of India for their assistance in transporting these thermal guns,” he further tweeted.
Goa government has decided to install thermal guns at all the government offices when they will be open on April 20.
