Class 12 exam details in Goa to be announced 5 days prior

Panjim, Apr 18: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced on Friday that the rescheduled dates for the class 12 board exam will be announced five days prior to the exam. They also added that the revised schedule for the class 10 board exam will be announced 10 days prior to the examination. In the meantime, the board has also requested the students to not listen to any of the rumours.

In its circular, the board added that they understood and are sensitive towards the anxiety and concerns of the students, parents and the schools, and that they are analyzing the current situation. Students with ‘need for improvement’ comment in classes 9 and 11 are eligible to write the supplementary examination.

They added that the new dates shall be decided keeping aspects related to entrance exams and admission dates in mind. Schools have been informed that faculty services may be requisitioned for the examination work and to make sure the teachers are available for the same.

GBSHSE has also instructed the schools to inform the teachers, students and staff members of the precautions they should take against COVID-19. The heads of institutions are further informed to upload a brief report on initiatives taken in the interest of the students by their institution during the lockdown.
