School Children Attend Health Camp Organized by Sesa Goa Limited

Securing medical facility to the community around its area of operations has been the integral part of Sesa Goa’s CSR approach.

Adhering to its philosophy and in order to give healthy school environment a general Health Check – Up camp was organized for the students of Govt. High School Navelim here recently.

All the students who attended camp are issued health cards on the pattern of Sesa Goa Ltd. Community Medical Center. A check up of, 182 out of 194 students in the school was done during the camp. The consultation and medicine for all the school children was given free of cost through the existing Community Medical Center in Amona.
 
On the occasion a talk on ‘Nutritional Diet‘ was delivered for the students of grade 9th and 10th to create awareness by Dr Basavaraj Pattanshetti.
 
The check-up was done by Dr B Pattanshetti, Dr M Sawant, Company doctors, Dr Dabale and Dr Kharande.

    It is really nice,there are various health camps but i think effective steps should be taken againt the garbage dump at sonsodo near manovikas school which is effecting the health of these children and the residence.
