Udupi, Mar 31: As per the reports from various health analysts, the next few days or weeks are very crucial for India in the battle against the coronavirus (COVID-19). The only way to stop this is through social distancing and following the rules and guidelines provided by various departments in this regard.

Even though curfew is imposed nationwide people continue to move around in their vehicles. To bring this in control the police department set up two check posts within the city limits, one at Kadiyali and the other at Santhekatte junction. These check posts have been set up as increased traffic is witnessed during the curfew period.

The check posts are installed for checking the reasons for travel and verifying the necessary documents to move further. The police department has urged the citizens to follow the guidelines during the curfew period and help the administration to control the spread of the virus.
