Abu Dhabi, Mar 20: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in coordination with the National Emergency and Crisis and Disasters Management Authority took the decision to suspend the issuance of all types of labour permits including drivers and domestic workers from March 19 until further date is given.
This does not include intra-corporate transfer permits and employment permits for Expo 2020.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to control the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
