Ramanagara, Mar 19: Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights visited Biligumba high school in the district on Wednesday, March 18 and gathered information from the students.
The school had hogged limelight recently after a lady teacher of the school hit some students so hard that the hand of one of the children was fractured.
The visiting members of the commission found that the allegation of inhuman behaviour made against the lady teacher has been substantiated. Therefore, the officials have decided to act against the teacher strictly.
A teacher of Biligumba high school, Umavathy, was angered at the fact that the children had written something on the bench. Based on reports appearing in a section of the press about the teacher's cruel behaviour breaking the bone of a student, the commission had registered a Suo Moto case and deputed a team to find out the facts on Wednesday.
