Ponda, Mar 13: A road cleaner died on the spot and the driver of road roller had to be admitted to the hospital as the brakes of the roller failed at Farmagudi here.

The incident happened near Goa Engineering College situated at Farmagudi.

The fall of the roller caused the death of 24 year-old-Alam Ansari, road cleaner. He was the resident of Mollem. 38-year-old Tabraf Niyaz Husen, the driver of the roller who is also the resident of Mollen and injured is admitted to the sub-district hospital at Ponda.
