Mangalore, Nov 14: On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, K S Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte near here, will be conducting ‘Doctors’ Meet – 2009’ for physicians and general practitioners at  the second floor seminar hall  of the hospital on Sunday November 15.
 
Topics to be presented for discussion will be ‘Diabetes and Heart Disease’ by chief cardiologist, Subramanyam K, and ‘Newer Treatment Modalities in Diabetes Mellitus’ by  chief endocrinologist, Dr Srikrishna V Acharya.

On this occasion, the hospital will be offering a diabetic screening package at Rs 350. This package includes FBS, PPBS, ECG, lipid profile, creatinine, complete haemogram, consultation by endocrinologist, ophthalmologist and cardiologist (if required).
