Mangaluru, Mar 7: A Port exhibition organized by Port Management Department of Srinivas University was organized on March 4, wherein students of BBA (Port Management) showcased static and working models, charts and posters which can be used to study various marine-related concepts.

The objective was to inculcate an innovation and research-related creative attitude among the students. Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor, Srinivas University inaugurated the exhibition. Faculties and students from different disciplines across Srinivas College of Management and Commerce attended the exhibition and encouraged the students.

The topic chosen was 'Ports and Marine Recreation'.

Dr Sonia Noronha took the initiative of encouraging the students to put up such a wonderful and enlightening exhibition. Based on judging done by Prof Pradeep MD, department of Social Sciences, Srinivas University and Prof Sripathi Rangabhatta, department of Management, first place was bagged by Muhammed Siraj and team, second place by Sulthan Sabeel and team and third place by Vishnu and team.
