Bengaluru: Arrested underworld element Ravi Poojary remanded to judicial custody

Bengaluru, Mar 7: A court here, through an order passed on Friday March 6, remanded underworld fugitive, Ravi Poojary, to two weeks judicial custody.

Poojary was in the custody of central crime branch police since the last many days. As per the court order issued on Friday, he was sent to Parappana Agrahara prison.

Poojary faces 37 cases in Dakshina Kannada relating to murder, murder attempt, forcible collection of protection money etc. Therefore the Mangaluru police are likely to seek his custody by way of body warrant soon, sources revealed.
