Mangalore, Nov 12: A meeting of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Padua Composite Pre-university College was here recently in the college auditorium.
Dean of St Agnes College, Charles Pais, addressing the teachers and parents on this occasion, exhorted them to note that every student is unique and special, and asked them to help the students to develop their hidden potentials. He stressed on the importance of the roles the parents are expected to play, in helping their wards to develop themselves into good individuals and citizens of the country.
PTA president, Julius Alvares, addressed the parents and emphasized the need to strengthen the bond between the parents and their children, which will help the students to carve out a brighter future for themselves. Principal of the college, Fr Michael Santhumayur, welcomed the gathering and co-opted the new members for the PTA executive committee. Gladys Aloysius proposed vote of thanks.
