MKCA, USA Organizes Flood Victims Fund Drive

Chicago, Nov 9: The Executive Committee of Mangalorean Konkan Christians Association, Chicago, announced that it is arranging a Flood Victims Fund drive to help the recent flood victims of Karnataka. It stated that spirit is running high with all the members in sharing the Peace of the festive season with the most needy back in India. The spokesperson reported that a number of sponsors have come forward to donate for this noble cause. The organizing committee has given a call to help them in this great humanitarian deed.

This Flood Victims Fund drive will continue until the Nathal Fest – 2009 (Christmas), which will be held on December 19, 2009 at Courtland Square Community Hall, Des Plaines, Illinois. The preparations for this much awaited program is in full swing. The Committee also announced that the preparations for Christmas Around the World program is also in its formative stage and they will include various professional cultural groups throughout India to showcase the Indian culture at this program, during this festive season. This program will be held at Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, on Saturday, December 05, 2009.
