Puttur, Nov 6: The local court has instructed the superintendent of the Mangalore district sub-jail, to produce serial killer Anand Mogera alias Mohan Kumar in the court on Friday November 6, in connection with a body warrant application moved by the town police station personnel here, relating to the alleged murder of Sharada (27) from Kedila by the killer, after promising to marry her and taking her life away at Madikeri.
The Puttur policemen have converted the missing complaint of Sharada into a murder case. The policemen of the rural policemen here too have moved for a body warrant, seeking the custody of the serial killer, relating to the murder of Bhaktaody Vinuta (22) from Sarve village in the taluk. The court may order handing over Mohan to the rural police station, after the town policemen complete their task.
The missing case of Vanita from Nelyady too comes within the taluk. But the policemen have been unable to change this missing complaint into murder case , as her body has not been traced. Mohan has already confessed to have killed Vanita.
In the meantime, a case of murder of Sujata from Mucchoor was registered at Bajpe police station, showing Mohan Kumar as the accused.
