Bangalore: Rajyotsava Celebrates at St Francis Xavier Cathedral

Bangalore, Nov 4: Kannada Rajyotsava Day was celebrated at St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Cleveland town, Bangalore here recently.



Archbishop Bernard Moras hoisted the flag at 8.15 am. A holy mass was held at the cathedral thereafter.

Church was packed with faithful to participate in All Saints’ Day mass after which Archbishop blessed St Antony's New Church at Thambu Chetty Palya (T C Palya).

    IT IS WELCOME MOVE, WE SHOULD CELEBRATE RAJOTSAVA NOT LIKE HOISTING THE FLAG (WHICH IS POLITICAL IN NATURE) RATHER WE SHOULD CELEBRATE A GRAND MASS AND PRAY FOR OUR STATE LEADERS FOR THE WELL BEING IN HEALTH AND PRAY TO GOD TO GIVE WISDOM TO OUR LEADERS. WE TOTALLY UNACEEPT HOISTING OF A POLITICAL FLAG IN THE CHURCH PREMISES, WHERE NONE OF THE RELEGIOUS HEADS ARE INTERESTED IN DOING SO. WHY OUR ARCHBISHOP REV.DR.BERNARD MORAS IS DOING SO. ONLY TO POLITICISE THE CHURCH IN THE NAME OF LANGUAGE , IT IS TRUE WHEN THE ARCHBISHOP WAS IN BELGAUM, HE NEVER ATTEMPTED TO HOIST RED AND YELLOW FLAG WHICH IS A FLAG OF A POLITICAL PARTY - KANNADA PAKSHA. IF THE RELEGIOUS HEAD ITSELF IS COMMITTING SUCH A BLUNDER , WHY HE IS DOING SO?. THE PRASHIONERS OF THE CHURCH ARE UPSET DUE TO BURSTING OF CRACKERS WHEN THE HOLY MASS IS GOING INSIDE THE CHURCH. WE CONDEMN THE ARCHBISHOP FOR VOILATING THE CODE OF CANNON AND VATICAN II DIRECTIVES.
