Mangaluru, Feb 13: 'Charaka', Commerce association of Sharada Degree College conducted a workshop on, 'From Hard Skills to soft skills- A Smart Journey with Fun'.

Dr Abubakkar Siddiq, Associate Professor of University College, Hampankatta was the resource person of the day. His focus remained in bringing out and highlighting the
ideals and values that are required to build up a healthy personality.

In his address he mentioned, “Today along with academic performance a lot of focus and attention has to be given to creative skills. He highlighted that personality
traits cannot be just picked by listening to speeches but it has to be gained through experience. "When we have practical exposure to realities, our life gets moulded
and it transforms us to face realities with bold steps.”

In order to facilitate such actions he conducted a lot of activities involving students where each activity had a unique and special life skill to pick from. Each of
the activities was fun-filled at the same time it had a recall value.

Dr Kabinale Balakrishna Bharadwaj, principal of Sharada Degree College gave his concluding remarks on the workshop. Keshava and Deekshitha, Association coordinators and staff members graced the programme by their presence. Varsha compered the programme and Sameeksha proposed the vote of thanks.
