Panaji: CAG recommends investigations, FIRs against three govt departments

Panaji, Feb 8: After indications of misappropriation of funds in the department of revenue, registration and transport, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has recommended detailed investigations either by the CID or the CBI together with FIRs and legal action with regard to such cases.

It is said that cashiers in the offices of North Goa collector, South Goa collector and Mamlatdar Salcete have deleted computer generated receipts of various amounts.
