Mangalore: Kadri Friends to Hold Two-day Festivities to mark Diwali from Oct 17

Mangalore, Oct 15: Kadri Friends will mark its fifth year of existence by organizing a two-day programme on a specially erected stage to celebrate Deepavali near Abhisheka Mandir, Kadri temple premises from Saturday October 17. 

The celebration will be begin with Bali Utsav of Lord Manjunatha at Kadri temple and the programme will be inaugurated on Saturday by K Dinesh Devadiga, president of Karnataka Rajya Devadiga Sudharakara Sangha. 

One the day-one, Moneg Takka Paterodchi, a Tulu comedy drama will be staged by Devadas Kapikad of Cha-parka team. On the second day, music orchestra by Naushad and team has been organized.

    Kadri friends are doing a very good job by organising this diwali function. Its nice to see the youth get together and put up a fabulous show like this. i realy appreciate the work done by them under the leadership of Mr Sanath.
