Mumbai: Request letters for donations of Hejmady temple renovation released

Mumbai, Jan 28: A letter requesting donations for renovation of Mahalingeshwar temple, Hejmady was released at Billavara Bhavan mini hall, Santacruz east on Saturday morning January 25.

Sugunendra Theertha Swamy of Puthige math called on devotees to cooperate in religious work. Renovation committee president, Jayanth Shetty Pune chaired the programme. Billavara Association Mumbai president, Chandrashekar S Poojary was the chief guest.

Mahalingeshwar temple managing trustee, Dayananda Hejmady, renovation committee president, H S Raghupathi Rao, Bengaluru committee president Subrahmanya Bagiltaya, Mumbai committee president, Pushparaj S Shetty, vice-president CA Ashwajit Hejmady, Dinesh Shetty Kannangar, Yaduveer Putran, Mohandas Hejmady, village committee’s Sudhaker Karkera, Panduranga Karkera, Ravindra Hejmady, Jayanth Putran, Sachin G Nayak, Dharmesh S Salian, Keshava Kotian, Dr Bharath Kumar Polipu, Dr Ishwar Alevoor, Mahesh Karkala, Jagadish Jogeshwari and others were present.



Mumbai committee vice-president, Sumangala Shetty sang a prayer song, Janaraj Bangera welcomed the gathering. Treasurer, Harish Hejmady gave an introduction. Chief secretary Omdas Kannangar introduced the guests and compered the programme. Central committee secretary, S Diwaker rendered the vote of thanks.
