Mumbai, Jan 24: In a gruesome incident, unknown persons kidnapped the six-year-old daughter of a pavement dweller who was asleep between her parents under Matunga flyover on Wednesday night. The flyover is close to Matunga and Sion police stations.

The child was allegedly hit with a brick and might have been sexually molested.

She is undergoing treatment for critical injuries at Sion hospital.
