Mumbai, Jan 16: “There is no need for bank customers to be anxious about the current ups and downs in the co-operative sector. It is the responsibility of the board of directors to fill customers with confidence. Therefore, our bank has held a customer’s conference. The bank is in service for the last 103 years and is one of the small banks, but it functions well by being strong in financial affairs. It also earns a good amount of profit,” said Model Co-operative Bank president Albert W D’Souza.
He addressed a gathering at the first customer’s conference held at Kohinoor Continental auditorium, Andheri east on Wednesday evening. “As the RBI and the co-operative sector oversee the functions of banks, co-operative banks are safe. Therefore, do not lose your trust in co-operative banks.”
Current and former office bearers, senior officials and customers were present. Deputy general manager Zenon D’Cruz welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. William Sequeira rendered the vote of thanks.
