Mumbai, Sep 30: ‘Navaratri-Vijayadashami Mahotsav’, and ‘Durgastami Utsav’ were held with pomp and gaiety at the Sri Jagadamba Kalabairav Temple located at Krishna Nagar, suburban Jogeshwari (East), on Monday September 28.
A ‘homa’, ‘Mangalarati’ and ‘puja’ were held on Vijayadashami day on Monday September 28 at the temple by chief priest Radhakrishna Bhat.
Temple trustees M C Suvarna, Sanjeev Poojary, and G T Acharya, managing committee executive president Suresh B Kotian, vice-president Ashok Acharya, honorary chief secretary Raghavendra Shanbagh, honorary joint secretaries Chandrahas N Kotian and Vishwanath Devanga, Sudhakar S Shetty Bhuvaji, Girish Dumal, Bhujanga Amin, Dayanand C Poojary, Vishwanath P Sanil, Shekar A Kundar, Padmanabha Kotian, Santhosh Poojary, Latish Shetty, Sadanand Amin, Shivakumar Kotian, Madhav Poojary, Rajesh Kotian, Yogesh J Acharya, Prabhakar Acharya, Ashok Shetty, Satish Devadiga, Raghu A Kotian, Somappa Karkera and women members including innumerable devotees offered puja to the temple deity on the occasion.
