Dubai, Jan 1: Sergej Schander took the theatrics of a proposal to a majestic level. The German national proposed to his girlfriend Loredana with the help of LED lights that beamed on the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa.
The proposal was done on Tuesday around 7.30 pm, hours before the annual fireworks and laser show.
The message read, "Loredana, willst du mich heiraten? (Loredana, will you marry me?)", in German which was viewed by thousands of people and those across the world who streamed the live broadcast on social media.
