Mangalore, Sep 17: The talent’s day celebration of St Aloysius B.Ed College was inaugurated on Tuesday September 15. The myriad talents of students will be showcased in a three-day programme.
Fr Stany D’Souza, superior, Asha Kiran, Mangalore inaugurated and Fr Leo Pereira, director presided. D’Souza in his address to students called on them to have belief in themselves and to turn a deaf ear to negativity.
Farita Viegas, principal and Delna Lobo, vice-principal were present. The celebration showcases the talent among students through conducting various competitions like folk dance, Mera bharath mahan, a cultural variety entertainment show, fancy dress, eastern and western singing, mehendi, salad preparation, rangoli and skit competition among others.
On the day one the competitions that were held were folk dance, Mera bharath mahan, creative writing and mehendi art.
