Mumbai, Sep 15: Konkani Catholic Association, Nallasopara celebrated Monti Fest at the St Francis De Sales Church, Central Park, Nallasopara (West) on Sunday September 13.
The celebration began with the procession of Mother Mary from the Central Park. Devotes led by children showered flowers as an offering to mother marching along the procession. Nativity of Mother Mary and harvest festival were celebrated at the church by observing religious rituals. Blessed corn to was distributed to the devotees on the occasion
Association president Harry B Cutinho, Kinnigoli was felicitated at the stage programme held as part of the celebration. Elias D’Souza from bellary region, Fr Cameline D’Souza, Allahabad, St Francis Church superior priest Fr Robert Fernandes and assistant priest Fr F Rosario were present.
