Mangaluru, Dec 4: Three accomplices of rowdy sheeter, D K Rakshith, surrendered to Ullal police on Tuesday December 3 in connection with the murder case registered against them relating to the murder of Sudarshan from Kasargod Puthige. Rakshith from Manjeshwar, who is the main accused in the case, had surrendered to the police earlier. Those who have surrendered now were Benny from Thokkottu Volapete, Rakesh, a resident of Kumble, and Shrijith from Puttur.
They had an axe to grind against the victim, Sudarshan, as Sudarshan, who was travelling by a train from Bengaluru to Kasargod, had recorded the movements of a girl from Thokkottu, who was also travelling by the same train with another man, behaving liberally with him. He had later uploaded this video in social websites. The girl, who felt offended, had complained to Ullal police about this, and also told her acquaintance, Rakshith, about this incident.
Sudarshan
Rakshith, who was in Bengaluru, came here along with his accomplices, and invited Sudarshan to the shrine of a Daiva near Kuthar in order to settle the above issue. After Sudarshan arrived from Kumble to Thokkottu by bus, Rakshith led him to his rented house near Madyar. He killed Sudarshan there by stabbing him with a knife, and threw the body in the bushes in front of cashew centre near Kapikad. He then conveyed information about the murder to Ullal police over phone and went missing. He however, later presented himself before the police.
The accomplices, who had joined Rakshith with clear plan to kill Sudarshan, have now surrendered. Ullal police are investigating the case.
