Mangaluru, Nov 30: Responding the statement of senior Congress leader and former chief minister Siddaramaiah that he will be the next chief minister, MP and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "Siddaramaiah is daydreaming.”
He was speaking at his newly renovated office at DC office on Saturday, November 30.
“During the last elections, Siddaramaiah had claimed that he will be the next chief minister and even today he is telling the same. Will Congress and JD(S) form coalition government once the election is done?
“BJP will secure 15 seats in the upcoming bypolls and our government will be safe. B S Yediyurappa will continue as chief minister for the next three years,” he said.
When asked about Siddaramaiah’s statement that Yediyurappa has become unemployed after Nalin became the state president, Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "I will answer this question after December 9.”
Meanwhile, BJP general secretary B L Santhosh inaugurated newly renovated office of the MP.
District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Mangaluru south MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, North MLA Bharath Y Shetty, Sullia MLA S Angara, Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor, Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik and others were present.
