Daijiworld Media Network – Hubballi (EP)

Hubballi, Nov 30: K S Eshwarappa, minister of Rural Development and Pachayatraj said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah has lost his mental balance.

He said that Siddaramaiah toppled the coalition government by dividing Congress party into groups. “His arrogance and selfishness are such that none of the Congress leaders are supporting him. Yet he is is aiming again for the post of chief minister. I think he has lost his mental balance," he said.

Saying that he will resign from the post of minister if BJP does not win eight seats, he threw a challenge to Siddaramaiah asking if he will step down from the position of the leader of opposition in Assembly if BJP wins eight seats.

“Siddaramaiah hindered the growth of backward classes. He is also bossing over leaders such as G Parameshwara and Mallikarjuna Kharge who have been serving in Congress party for the last several years,” he said.

Eshwarappa asked if Siddaramaiah can say that he was not involved in G Parameshwara’s defeat in Koratagere. “JD(S) intends to join Congress or BJP as it is not strong enough,” he said.
