Daijiworld Media Network - Haveri (SP)

Haveri, Nov 29: BJP candidate from Hirekerur constituency, B C Patil, said that the treasure of Siddaramaiah would be revealed if the narco analysis test is performed on the former minister, K J George. "Once this is done, people will realize who is useless person," he commented.

Addressing a press meet at Hirekerur on Thursday, November 28, he charged Siddaramaiah of utilizing the services of a retired police officer, Kempaiah, for so many things, details of which he said, he is aware of. "During your rule, police officers committed suicide. You have spoken lowly of the police department, which is undeserving. When you were the chief minister, police protected you all through. Now you say that the police accept bribes, which has made me unhappy. Unless you seek an apology from the police department soon, you will face their backlash soon," he warned.

Patil said that the Congress is down in the dumps in Karnataka because of Siddaramaiah. He said Siddaramaiah was the leader who brought down its numbers from 172 to 78 just because of his selfish intentions. "Frustrated at his selfishness, enmity, and devious plans, we walked out of the Congress. We have not stabbed anyone in the back. But Siddaramaiah has stabbed us in the chest. I will file a defamation suit against Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao. Congress has reached such a state that whoever has remained here is becoming a leader," he ridiculed.

Hitting back at B C Patil at Hospet, Siddarmamaiah lamented that B C Patil is unable to understand that he was ousted from the JD(S) and he had not defected to the Congress. as Patil is making out. He said he joined the Congress at the invitation of Sonia Gandhi. He felt that Patil has been speaking out of frustration as he facing defeat in his constituency.
