Yemeni gang arrested for robberies worth more than Dh98,000

Riyadh, Nov 26: Over 15 members of a Yemeni gang were arrested by Saudi Police for being accused of robberies.
 
According to an Al Riyadh report, the gang was charged with stealing money, oud and incense worth more than 100,000 Saudi riyals (Dh98,000).
 
 
Police spokesman Major Hussein Al Qahtani said that authorities had determined that the robberies from one store amounted to 80,000 riyals, while the robbery of another store was worth around 25,000 riyals.
 
As per the officials, the arrested Yemeni men confessed to their crimes upon interrogation.
