Mangaluru, Nov 26: A Zonal Office Bearers Orientation & Training seminar was held on Sunday November 24 at the Besant Women’s College auditorium jointly hosted by Rotaract Club of Mangaluru city and Rotaract Club of Besant PG Studies in Commerce.

Dr Satish Kumar Shetty, principal of the college was the chief guest and he gave an excellent message on leadership. The other guests of honour were Rtn PDG PHF Dr B. Devdas Rai, DRRC Rtn Yatish Baikampady, Rotaract chairman Rtn Vinod D’Souza, DRR Rtr Ganesh Bhat, ZRR Karavali Zone Rtr Keshav K.

All the guests of honour also addressed the gathering and gave very inspiring messages. Rtr Sheldon Crasta president of city and Rtr Kavyashree president of Besant jointly chaired the programme.

After the inaugural, Rtn Dr B Devdas Rai took a session on Rotary and Rotaract which was followed by a session on 'Roles and Duties of Various Office Bearers'.

Finally, DRR Rtr Ganesh explained the various projects and activities of the Rotaract Movement in Rotary district 3181. About 50 Rotaractors from five different Clubs took an active part in the same and benefited from the sessions. Awards were given to the early bird registration Club and Club with the maximum registration. During the closing ceremony, attractive certificates were distributed to all the participants.
