Some rain, thunder and lightning happened at Udupi, Manipal and surrounding places. During this period, several two-wheelers went out of control of riders and fell to the road between Tiger Circle and Manipal Institute of Technology where muddy, slippery road created by road works posed a challenge to road users.

Villages like Kalmadka, Chokkady and Panja in Dakshina Kannada district had light rain. The city had sultry weather all through. The temperature in Dakshina Kannada district reached 37 degree Celsius, which is the highest during the last ten years during November. Normally because of occasional rain in November, the temperature does not touch 37 degrees. The previous two occasions on which high temperature was recorded during November were 36.8 degrees on November 3, 2008, and 36.4 degrees on November 11 last year.
