Bengaluru, Nov 15: Former CM H D Kumaraswamy said that defeating the 15 disqualified MLAs in the coming by elections is his first aim.
Speaking to the scribes in the city, Kumaraswamy said, "Neither Congress nor Siddaramaiah are my enemies. Let them say anything. May be we have political enmity. But I will do whatever is possible and hatch plans to get the 15 disqualified MLAs defeated in the coming by polls.
"My first priority is the victory of JD (S) candidates. Wherever it is not possible for our candidates to win, my priority will be to get the disqualified MLAs defeated. There is no compromise in this fact. However, the question of agreement with the Congress or BJP also does not arise.
"As soon as JD (S) offered support to Sharath Bacchegowda many statements are being given by various leaders throughout the state. We have not offered support to him because he belongs to our community. He is in the Janata Parivar right from the beginning. Only because of minor differences, he is separate. I am in touch with Sharath for the past one week. His victory is definite. If he wishes, I will campaign for him also.
"I will make a plan for the assembly by elections, keeping in mind the strength of our party as well as the possible future developments after the election. I will put my best effort to see that JD (S) candidates secure victory,” he said.
