Udupi, Nov 10: "Out of the 195 A grade temples in the state that fall under the Muzrai department, mass weddings will be conducted in 100 temples. An order in this regard will be taken out on Monday, November 11. In the undivided district of Dakshina Kannada, temples at Kollur, Mandarti, Kota Amriteshwari, Kateel, Subramanya and Someshwara are selected for this purpose," said Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
The minister further said, "Supreme Court is going give its verdict on the disqualified rebel MLAs of Congress and JD (S) on Wednesday. So all are concentrating in that direction. Post the verdict, decision will be taken by the BJP with regards to their future."
On the query of proposed foot march by former CM Siddaramaiah in the undivided district of DK to promote communal harmony, Kota Srinivas Poojary said, "Earlier, Siddaramaiah had made a foot march protest at Ballari against the illegal mining. However, when he assumed power, he supported those who were involved in mining. So this is also not an honest political decision by Siddaramaiah."
