Mangaluru: One arrested for trying to sell ganja

Mangaluru, Nov 8: Police inspector of Kavoor police station, along with PSI and personnel arrested one person, who possessed ganja with him and trying to sell the same on the road that leads to Raghavendra Math of Udundadi under Panjimogaru village, which falls under the limits of Kavoor police station limits.

The arrested accused is identified as Mohammed Aashir (23), son of Basheer, a resident of Rohan Flats, second floor, near service station of Panjimogaru, Padukodi village.

Police have seized 350 grams of ganja worth Rs 6,500 from the accused and also a mobile phone worth Rs 5,000.

A case under narcotic drugs selling is registered on the arrested in Kavoor police station.

This is a syndicate of powerful lobby, with gangs across our borders.... Only one section of our society are chronically affiliated to consumption and sale of these drugs.... Only a strong will can defeat these habitual criminals, who are hell bent, to destroy the future of our young generation......
