Sullia: Bus-Innova car collision at Adkar - Three passengers die

Sullia, Oct 12: In a macabre accident which happened between a car and a bus at Adkar in the taluk on Friday October 11 night, three persons lost their lives. Three others suffered serious injuries. 

The deceased have been identified as Majeed (32), son of Abdull Khader from Kedila Kampa in Bantwal taluk, Muhammed Sadiq (31), resident of Kabaka in Puttur taluk and Sunaina (16). Among them, the first two died on the spot while Sunaina breathed her last at the hospital. 

Talvin Pariq (10), Muhammed Jakwana (14) and Anbubakker (40), who suffered injuries, stand admitted into Sullia hospital. 

 

Majeed and Muhammed Sadiq were to get married next month. The accident happened when they were returning after distributing wedding invitation cards to relatives and friends. 

Sullia police have registered a case. 

The impact of the accident was so hard that the Innova was badly mangled. The bus, after thie accident, moved towards a nearby plantation. The locals had to work hard to bring out the bodies of the deceased and injured passengers. 

The spot of the accident happened to be Mavinakatte in Adkar where an accident which happened last week had claimed four lives. In this case, a Kerala government bus and a Toyota Innova vehicle collided with each other. Resultantly, three persons seated inside the Innova car lost their lives.

    Investigations by The Police Department will reveal the actual cause of the accident.

    It is always better to follow trafic rules on speeding, always better to have heavy fines to keep on remind about following trafic rules. Can avoid some accidents.
