Rs 4.25 crore found in IT raids from 30 premises belonging to G Parameshwara

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SHP)

Bengaluru, Oct 11: In a set of multiple raids which took place on Thursday, October10, it is said that IT officials have found incriminatory evidence connected to former deputy chief minister (DCM) G Parameshwara and his associates. A total of Rs 4.25 crore in cash was found in 30 places around Bengaluru and Tumakuru. The raids are still in progress on Friday. These raids are being conducted after Parameshwara was named in a multi-crore tax evasion case linked to medical entrance exams.

These raids involved over 300 IT officials searching different premises connected to Parameshwara and Congress leader R L Jalappa. The initial raids were conducted after the department received a tip-off that the medical seats are being sold for huge value. The IT officials then conducted a thorough probe which disclosed irregularities in the process. Reportedly, medical seats were being sold at Rs 50 lac to Rs 60 lac.

On October 11, the department was planning to raid the house of Parameshwara's nephew and the Siddhartha Medical College, which runs by the trust managed by the former DCM. Similarly, the RL Jalappa Institute of Technology in Doddaballapura and Kolar, run by R L Jalappa's son.

In response to the raids being conducted, Parameshwara claimed that he will rectify any errors or faults caused by him. Meanwhile, RL Jalappa referred the raids as political vendetta.

G Parameshwara was the DCM in HD Kumaraswamy's JD(S)-Congress coalition government that collapsed in July after losing the trust vote in the assembly.

It is illegal money, collected from poor peoples by giving false promises, tax payers money looted by passing poor quality projects, so karnataka is not yet developed. If one politician has this much imagine how much would have looted 500+ politicians, government officials ??? Then how Our state and country will develop !??

Now this Parameshwara also would be grilled by ED may be after 2 years and then would join DKshi and there would be protest .But even after Protest he would not be released and ..........

IT ,CBI and ED are the sub divisions ofBJP which is proved by their actions of targeting BJP opponents. When Amit Shah and son were summoned by court both of them failed to attend and they were let scot-free. Why did any of the above agencies raid them when the money 50000 rupees multiplied to 5 crores?. Just look at BJP politicians of Karnataka, one even has a note counting machine.

How rediculous from 30 premises IT could find only Rs 4.25 crores worth property belonging to Dr Parameshwara. A family man of his stature and years of earning in govt service this earning is not something out of sync. Did recently Dr Parameshwara speak the truth about BJP for BJP to snub him with this far fetched rowdism by BJP. First BJP should disclose total amount of black money it has collected since Demonitisation and IT should raid all BJP ministers who did not exchange old notes with new including its family members like Jay Shah etc etc......

It is 16lacs Cash per Premises. It is illegal to keep such kind of cash. If he has a reason he needs to give a reason and source of funds thats all. Even general public the law would be the same.

Why no BJP ministers and Bhakths stand in bank queue to exchange with new notes????.... Even if they had all white still why they did not stand in queue to get new legal notes which needs explanation from them?????.... So, shouldn't IT, CBI and ED raid all BJP to find out how much black money was turned white even before legal notes were out????.....As long as BJP holds black money it's legal and could be turned to white anytime as required.

I wonder why no raids on any BJP leaders. Are they all totally non-corrupt? Really very biased what the central government is doing . There are so many BJP leaders we know in our own district who have crores of money which is obviously from corruption. It looks like only those who support BJP can make money from corruption and not get raided by the IT.
I can see the future of my country under this government.
