Patna, Oct 9: Despite strict guidelines by authorities in India, fake news factory is active across the nation, sensitive and communal news still trying to circulate around social media. The latest being under the caption of 'Christian woman naked and paraded in Bihar' was fake but widely shared across social media platforms. The video cannot be played here due to sensitive visuals, but the fact is video surfaced in August 2018 in Bihar was circulated now with fake headlines.
According to The Quint, a tweet on this subject had garnered over 7,000 retweets and over 8000 likes.

The video is also being massively shared on Facebook with the same claim.
The Quint portal has investigated that, the video is of an incident which took place on August 20, 2018. A 19-year old boy's body was found on a railway track at Bihiya town in Bhojpur. People blamed the woman of being part of a prostitution ring that was blamed for the boy's death. A mob from the deceased’s village vandalized and burned many local shops. The dragged the woman out on to the street and assaulted, disrobed and paraded her.
RSS organisation or Christian community is nothing to do with this incident.
