Bantwal: Man threatens to upload private pictures of girlfriend, arrested

Bantwal, Oct 7: A 28-year-old man was detained by police for abusing a woman on pretext of marriage and later threatening to upload her private pictures on social media. 

Mohammed Azharuddin (28) from Malluru is the arrested person.

Azharuddin befriended the girl some years back and subsequently developed relationship with her. He promised to marry her but later refused to honour his promise. When the girl confronted him, he revealed that he has clicked pictures of his private moments with her and threatened to upload the pictures in social media and defame her.

 

The girl, upset with his attitude and threats, approached Bantwal police on October 4 and filed a complaint against him. 

Police arrested Azharuddin on October 5 and produced him in the court and since then he has been remanded to judicial custody. 

A police case under section 417 and 354(A)(1)(i) IPC stands registered against the accused.

    Most of the time they refuse file an FIR as well and make one to go post to pillar.

    Good that the girl had guts to go to Police Station and complain. Now Azaruddin not only lost respect in front of relatives and neighbors, he will also lose money for bail extra. That will teach him a proper lesson and he will not harass the girl again. This girl should not marry him because he has shown his true color

    Girls should be very careful. Never ever allow the boyfriend or the sex partner to touch the phone during intimate times.
    No ways. when in lover the lovers (especially girl) remains in a phase called LOVERIA which blinds them totally.
    Azzarudin is an opportunist. Surprisingly, how come he did not come under the scanner of local moral police ?

    @ Rita Germany, I agree with you that a criminal irrespective of caste or religion should be punished according to the law of the land. But here I was talking about our so called moral police. These people act only after seeing the religion of the criminal and the victim. They don't act if both belong to the same religion.

    Be careful to check the room for cameras even if you trust your boyfriend. You don't know what will happen tomorrow. You might find a better person or you might be rejected.
