Panaji, Oct 6: Congress slammed PWD minister Deepak Pauskar for the bad state of the Saligao roads. They demanded immediate repair works on the road and hold the responsible person accountable for the shoddy work.

In a letter to the minister, Congress listed the areas where the road conditions were poor - Saligao, Reis Magos, Pilerne Marra, Nerul, Sangolda, and Guirim.

Congress general secretary, Yatish Naik reminded Pauskar of the promises made by him in Goa Legislative Assembly. “The promise made by the PWD minister has lost its sanctity and as such people are left to suffer. These roads have assumed proportions of death traps,” Naik said.
