IMD forecast predicts decline in rainfall for Goa

Panaji, Sep 22: The recent forecast by IMD revealed that Panaji will receive light to moderate rainfall over the next five days.

Canacona will likely receive the highest rainfall over the next 24 hrs. Along with Canacona, rainfall is expected on Pernem, Dabolim, Old Goa, and Valpoi.

The seasonal quota of rainfall for Goa was already achieved in August due to the flood-like situations. The August month received over 703mm while September received 305.8mm in the first five days.
