Mangaluru: Louis J Pinto re-elected president of Mandd Sobhann

Mangaluru, Sep 13: Mandd Sobhann, the premier Konkani Cultural Organization, held its 32nd general body on September 1. Louis J Pinto was re-elected as the president.

The executive committee elected that day, met on September 10 to elect the office bearers for 2019-20.

Eric Ozario was elected as the gurkar, Stany Alvares as vice-president, Naveen Lobo as coordinator, Kishore Fernandes as secretary, Clara D'Cunha as treasurer, Irine Rebello as associate secretary, Victor Mathias as PRO.

Among other posts, Arunraj Rodrigues was selected as administrator-Kalakul Repertory, Sunil Monteiro as Sumell coordinator, Lawrence D'Souza as Nach Sobhann coordinator, Bannu Fernandes was given the responsibility of Kalangann maintenance and Rony Crasta was handed over the responsibility of library maintenance.

Harriet Vidyasagar, Alron Rodrigues, Lingappa Gowda, Jaison Sequeira and Jasmine Lobo were elected as members.

James Lopes, Joy Fernandes, and Alwyn Pinto were chosen as representatives. Roy Castelino, Fr Ramesh Naik Bandodkar and Ronald Mendonca were chosen as honorary members.
